Family Directed Resources

Family Directed Resources is a locally funded program of the Erie County Board of Developmental Disabilities designed to increase a family’s capacity to care for an individual with a disability, or help an individual be more independent in their home or community.

Family Directed Resources provides funding for a wide range of supports that includes respite, purchase or lease of adaptive equipment, home modifications, special diet needs, counseling, training, and education.

To determine whether your family may qualify for the Family Directed Resources program or if you would like more information about the program please feel free to contact the Erie County Board of DD office or your Service and Support Administrator at 419-626-0208, or Ability Works, Inc. at (419) 626-1048.
