ADVOCACY
The Erie County Board of Developmental Disabilities has an active group of self advocates that help teach individuals with disabilities how to speak up for themselves and teach people without disabilities about the importance of inclusion.
The Erie CORE are involved at both the local and state levels. They attend monthly meetings, training and conferences to network, strengthen their skills and be the voices for Erie County.
