Our mission is to INSPIRE, EMPOWER and SUPPORT
individuals and their families.

The Erie County Board of Developmental Disabilities is a government social services agency established by state law. We currently support more than 900 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout their lifetime.

We help people, along with their families and support networks, understand services and navigate life transitions, like enrolling in kindergarten, graduating high school, securing employment and being part of their communities.
